  • Graduated Cum Laude from medical school at the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba in 2004

  • Specialist in Family Medicine graduated from the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba in 2007

  • Specialist in Endocrinology graduated from the University of Medical Sciences of Sancti Spiritus, Cuba in 2010

  • Serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Global Hormonal Health

  • Since 2004, has worked as a medical doctor in Cuba and abroad, assigned to international health missions in Haiti as a family medicine doctor (March 2006 through March 2007) and in Botswana as a consultant Endocrinology specialist (October 2013 through February 2014)

  • Is currently pursuing medical licensure in the United States. Has passed the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 USMLE CK and CS, and is on track to enter into a residency program in family medicine.

  • Professional interests include bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, integrative diabetes care, metabolic bone disease, neuroendocrine balance and psyco-neuro-inmune-endocrine modulation
